Our perfect project
The whole team’s love for human-centered hospitality and quality is a constant motivation for development and improvement.
The proof of truth in numbers
At the beginning of 2016, housed in a neoclassical building in the center of Thessaloniki, The Caravan B&B, our own project, opened its doors. A small Bed & Breakfast has unique aesthetic and offers extremely attentive services to all visitors, travelers and locals. It has also managed to emerge as the best guesthouse in Greece, winning the Gold Award at the Tourism Awards in 2022.
The whole team’s love for human-centered hospitality and quality is a constant motivation for development and improvement. During this period of its operation, The Caravan B&B along with Reminds Hospitality has achieved many distinctions and all the goals that were set since its inception.
With methodical moves and frequent follow-up, a strong customer base has been created, they trust us over the years and as a result, more than 60% of our bookings are direct, which also marks a significant increase in revenue. We know how important it is for an accommodation to have the right mix of online distributors, while the goal of every hotelier is to receive more direct bookings by limiting the influx of these from OTAs with the ultimate goal of maximizing their revenue.
The truth is that we love numbers and not all these years have disproved the decisions and efforts of the whole team, but we must also talk about how strong The Caravan brand is now. For the 7th consecutive year it is among the 25 best B&Bs in Greece on TripAdvisor, in 2021 it won the Silver Award “Best Greek Hotel Breakfast” at the F&B Greek Hospitality Awards. In 2022 it was awarded the Gold Award “Best Guest House in Greece” at the Tourism Awards, while the positive and complimentary comments from our precious guests are countless, giving us inspiration and strength to continue undeterred.
In 2021, The Caravan Brunch was created, which is served daily at The Caravan Café and very quickly became the absolute talk of the town. It is considered the best brunch in Thessaloniki and we are not the only ones who say so, as LiFO, Biscotto, Parallaxi Magazine, Athens Voice, New York Times, National Geographic have written about it.
The new challenge, however, is now sustainability and green practices. Having the Green Key mark since the first year of operation, our need for as green and environmentally friendly actions as possible is even more intense. For this reason, we are opening our wings for a new project called “Ecodespotis & case study for Google Business”. Stay tuned for more shortly…
